Dortoni Bakery created the wedding cake of our dreams! Our tasting was such a fun part of wedding planning. We loved sampling different fillings and ended up choosing vanilla cake with Italian custard, Italian custard with dulce de leche, rich dulce de leche, and a strawberry in Chantilly tier for our top tier. Having the option to customize different tiers was perfect for our large wedding. Our cake was absolutely stunning. The elegant Swiss dots and swirls gave it such a timeless and romantic look, and even better, it tasted amazing. The cake itself was incredibly moist and our guests loved every flavor. We did have a small mix-up with our anniversary tier, but Dortoni responded immediately, sincerely apologized, and offered to make it right. We are so grateful to the entire team for creating such a beautiful and delicious centerpiece for our wedding day. We would happily recommend Dortoni Bakery to any couple planning their wedding!

I have been a loyal customer for about 10yrs! After today I will never go back. I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday I gave them pictures and was very descriptive with what I wanted. The cake they gave me looked like it had been made by someone who had never made a cake it was uneven, the boarders were crooked and different sizes. The handwriting on the cake looked terrible!! Anyway I told them I didn't like it I came in at 9:20am my daughters party was at 11am they told me they would re make it and it would be about 30 mins. I went to get my kids and went back for the cake it still wasn't ready. 10:45 AM comes by I have to drive 20 minutes to the party and the cake is still not ready. I'm panicking and someone who claims to be the manager is talking to me as if it's my fault that I'm going to be late to my party because I didn't like the cake. The cake was definitely not up to Dortoni standard. I paid $200 for this cake and it looked terrible. The person who handed me the original cake even agreed that the cake did not look good. The manager was super rude and dismissive I was late to the party I was so upset I left the establishment in tears. I will never be back. This was

All I can say is WOW! Last year, I had a terrible experience with Dortoni and Huntington and swore I would never go back. However, after reaching out, Donna contacted me personally she was incredibly apologetic and truly went above and beyond to make things right. Fast forward to this past week. I needed a cake for my mother’s surprise 60th birthday. I reached out to Donna again and she was absolutely amazing. She took the time to listen to everything. I wanted paid attention to every detail and even offered great suggestions and ideas to help bring my vision together she made me feel completely confident in my order. I do not have a worry in the world that this cake would be beautiful. She reassured me it would be and it truly was. The cake was so beautiful. I didn’t even want the restaurant to cut it and the top Of that, it was absolutely delicious! She was so incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, which made everything so easy and stress-free. Because of Donna and Donna alone, I will continue to visit Dortoni, especially in their Levitown location. I will also be reaching out to her and her only for all my future orders. Cookies Galore 👍👍 Came here with a buddy for a morning cup of joe. Walked in and wowed by the cookies & pastries on display. Friendly & efficient service. Many dazzling items to satisfy your sweet tooth. Dortoni’s is prominent for their prized wedding cakes. This success has allowed them to grow into 5 locations. Perhaps this is also the reason for several lackluster reviews. They are too busy growing and having a difficult time keeping customers satisfied. I did not get a chance to try their cakes but the cookies and pastry hit the Mark. 💪💪

Once upon a time, Dortoni Bakery of Levittown was my go-to place for cakes whenever I didn’t have time to bake them myself. Over the years, I’ve made several purchases for various celebrations and even referred many customers. This year, my retired mother was adamant about ordering a cake for my birthday, which was last weekend. Together, we placed an order for Dortoni’s red velvet cake, trusting them to deliver the exceptional product we’d always received in the past. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time. The cake we received was nothing like the vibrant, bright red velvet cakes we were accustomed to. The flavor was completely off—it did not taste like red velvet at all. Instead, it resembled a blend of carrot cake with a dull, unappealing dark red color. When I returned to town, I contacted the bakery to express my disappointment. The manager, Rudy, asked me to bring in a slice of the cake, which I did. Without even tasting it, he insisted it was not carrot cake. My birthday evening had already been ruined after discovering this poorly made version of what should have been a classic red velvet cake.
